Are you thinking of switching from Adobe Premiere Pro to DaVinci Resolve? I DIDN'T switch and I'll give my honest opinion on why to switch and why not to. While DaVinci Resolve is an excellent choice for color grading and video/sound editing, it may not be the best fit for everyone's needs. For example, if you require additional programs like After Effects(=Fusion), Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro, Adobe may be the way to go. Also If you're planning on paying for DaVinci Resolve Studio (rather than using the free version), the cost may not be much different from that of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially if you're eligible for student and teacher discounts. That being said, Resolve's iPad editing capabilities may offer a unique advantage. I'm gonna put DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Rush to the test on iPad and continue editing on their PC versions.
