Welcome to my Kenshi beginners guide and tips video, in this Kenshi video I go over lots of questions and things new players wonder or have struggle figuring out when they start such as how to play kenshi, how to read the UI, how to progress and what is progression, things you can do and some general tips. I've played kenshi for around 280+ hours as of recording so have a fair bit of information and knowledge on the game. *IMPORTANT I say I start as "The nobodies" but I actually picked "The Freedom Seekers" make sure you pick the freedom seekers. Fair warning we exploit the game mechanics like crazy and this is pretty much cheating in many respects. To train fast you need to acquire a variety of tools, blueprints and equipment. The difficulty is in getting your hands on those tools early in the game, the easiest thing to acquire is money. Using Money you can give yourself several advantages. This video covers how you can power level skills that are very useful for taking shortcuts in this game. Namely Thieving, Sneaking, Lockpicking and Assassinations. Toughness, Dodge & First Aid Training Method, in Kenshi. you can go over 100 in this way. Fast Training Exploit for Toughness in Kenshi - In this video we are getting x3 exp; and negating damage with late game armor. We face off against powerful enemies and continue to get struck down & get up and fight when you should be playing dead. Toughness combat exp scales based on the amount of damage received relative to your toughness level, using the skill diff modifiers in the FCS. Damage that is resisted via armor or toughness itself IS still counted for this purpose, even though the damage might be nullified. At 25 damage or lower than your toughness level, you will receive x0.1 the amount of exp. At 10 damage over your toughness level, you will receive x2 exp. This scales up to x6 exp at 50 damage over your toughness level. The following methods are ways of improving a character's Toughness (quoted directly from In-game): Getting hurt, getting beaten up, losing battles Get up and fight when you should be playing dead Bonuses if you are fighting critically wounded Making certain (often foolish) dialogue choices "It means starting fight with drunks, bandits, or any other usually hostile factions through dialog" Once your health drops below your KO point [Specific to your character] your health becomes critical and you won't be able to get back up again. I stream everyday excluding Wednesdays at Twitch.tv/FrankieWuzHere Come on and drop by! I do a ton of Solo Challenge runs. Currently as of 10/07/2022 I am doing a Bonedog solo run! The mods I had enabled are just Nice Map, Mute flies, and the Dark UI as well as a mod I forgot to disable that just reduces the Bonedog's size (In terms of getting stuck on stuff, to allow me to enter buildings) for my Solo Bonedog run I am currently doing on stream. The squad settings are all at the default 1x. After a chat member encouraged me to I decided to make a guide for Kenshi. Planning on making more but wanted to say real quick that it's my first guide so if anyone has any criticism/feedback on something that was off (Like if I was too loud, should have sped up the info at the start etc...) please let me know. Disclaimer I got pretty above average luck with getting multiple no damage KOs from enemies attacking me just as I went to get up so a realistic time to get 1-90 is probably 3 1/2 minutes without that happening. Spent a while to make this one so hope it helps out some people!
